- Ionia Atlantic Imports has entered a distribution partnership with Koerner Distributor in Southern Illinois. Koerner Distributor is one of the largest distributors in the state of Illinois and operates from its headquarters in Effingham. - Ionia Atlantic Imports and its distributor clients have developed a partnership with Whole Foods to market our Italian wines throughout the Midwest. The Whole Foods Midwest regional office is located in Chicago, Illinois and services Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. The initial six product mix will be available in regional Whole Foods stores this coming spring/summer. - Ionia Atlantic Imports will contribute wine for the Embassy Progressive Dinner hosted by the Center for Global Development. “The Center for Global Development is an independent, nonprofit policy research organization that is dedicated to reducing global poverty and inequality and to making globalization work for the poor.” Our wines will be served with dinner at the Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C. on April 14, 2009.
