The Goretti winery lies just outside of Perugia, surrounded by the scenery of their beautiful vineyards and the majestic skyline of Perugia, which graces the Grechetto label. The 3rd and 4th generations of the Goretti family are currently in charge of this beautiful estate. Old World tastings are held in the beautiful 13th century tower, while locals fill their wine jugs at the very modern petrol fuel station style pumps. Surrounded by lush garden grounds and the rolling hills of Umbria, the Goretti estate is a peaceful and pleasant scene. Goretti's prestigious Sagrantino vineyard, "Le Mura Saracene", is of course located in the area of Montefalco, just a short drive away. The Goretti family's vision is to combine the traditions of their ancestors with advanced modern techniques. The result is truly beautiful wine.
