I Giusti e Zanza "Perbruno" Toscana IGP
Luscious and bold, this 100% Syrah is grown in Fauglia, near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast. Full and round, with loads of ripe black berries up front. A spicy and peppery mid-palate follows through to a wonderful and long finish. Both the 2004 and 2005 have similar organoleptic profiles. The 2004 is drinking well now, and will continue to age well for the next few years. The 2005 needs some time to open, and is showing excellent potential for ageing as well. For the 2005, Wine Spectator says: “Juicy black fruit, colored with herbs. Full-bodied, round and fine, with loads of lingering ripe fruit on the finish. Delicious syrah. Best after 2008. 830 cases made. –JS.” This complex and tasty syrah is food friendly, and compliments a variety of dishes.
