Collina Serragrilli "La Tur" Barolo
The Collina Serragrilli wines offer the finest representation of the Nebbiolo grape that we have encountered. Relatively unknown in the United States, Collina Serragrilli garners great press in Europe. The Barolo “La Tur” is a bold and complex wine. After fermentation, La Tur is aged in French Oak Barriques for 3 years, and another 10 months in the bottle before
release. Deep garnet in color, with a complex nose ranging from deep dark fruits and black cherries, to hints of spice. A luscious full-bodied palate, soft, rich, with a great tannic structure, this wine is absolutely wonderful.
