This Barbera represents the finest of single vineyard wine. Nizza, a small hill in the Asti province, provides the grapes for this locally renowned Barbera. Aged in oak barriques for 8 months, this wine is evocative of the terroir it’s grapes are grown in. Slightly on the spicy side, both on the nose and in the mouth, Laudana is a masterpiece of Piemonte style. Deep ruby red to garnet, with hints of oak on the nose. Full bodied and round in the mouth with sweet tannins and long, pleasant finish. Enjoy with ricotta stuffed ravioli in a truffle and clarified butter sauce.
